• ◯Mount the flag so the union (stars) is to the observer's upper left
• ◯Display from sunrise to sunset unless properly illuminated
• ◯Take the flag down in bad weather unless it is an all-weather flag
• ◯Hoist briskly, lower ceremoniously
• ◯Inspect for tears or fading monthly
